…baked potato? Right? WRONG! It’s easy to “load” on the calories with toppings and condiments. However, if your picking the right foods, loading a meal up with more vitamin and nutrients may be a different story! I love making loaded oatmeal for breakfast. Mix in whatever you want, as if you were making an ice cream sundae or loaded baked potato. Here I’ve used nuts, chia/flax mix, maple syrup from my family’s property, blueberries and craisins for some added sweetness. These ingredients add flavor and balance vs. brown sugar (which has no health benefits). Before you build your next meal, consider “loading” it up…in a good way!
